Complete renovation & staging of a 1962 California Ranch home in El Cerrito, CA. This property had not been touched since the 60's and it had the floral wallpaper to prove it! While I am quite fond of vintage wallpaper, i knew there was no way to make it work in the redesign. I stuck to neutrals in this project but made sure to select items with intention. Both bathroom use zellige tiles for the shower walls, which provide beautiful color variation and visual interest. In the Primary bath, the hexagon makes two appearances one as the tile floor and another in the light fixture. Because the home provided a neutral pallet I was able to bring in color through the staging and create a multidimensional space filled with treasures. February-june 2021
